I can't say enough good things about Big Mission Automotive. I wish every shop, dealer or otherwise operated like this. These guys know their stuff. They don't just rely on codes. This is old school mechanics in a very positive way. Steve is super friendly and knowledgeable. The staff themselves do great work. They give you options and explain in detail what service your vehicle needs or may need. They give you options. This is the first independent shop I know of that offers you a ride or even a loaner for the day. Just fantastic service. I feel very fortunate to have them so close to the house. They definitely have my business for my Porsche.

So glad that I gave Big Mission Auto a chance with my 80,000 mile check on my Audi Q5. They were efficient, offered to take me back home, and also resolved the yellow engine light on my dash. Great communication all day and a fair price for their services. Don’t get out of there without sampling some custom coffee from their commercial quality machine. I’m so glad to have found a local business to care for my car.

New to the area and was looking for a trustworthy local shop. Found them to be honest, helpful and very accommodating. I certainly plan on continuing to take both our vehicles here for future service.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

01.
Why Is Head Gasket Failure So Commonly Discussed With Subarus?

In older EJ-series engines (typically pre-2012), the head gaskets were prone to external leaks. While newer FB-series engines have largely addressed this, regular coolant pH testing and fluid flushes are still vital to prevent corrosion and maintain a proper seal.

02.
Do You Use OEM / OES Parts?

Yes. We use original Subaru or high-quality OES parts to ensure your vehicle maintains its factory safety standards and all-wheel-drive performance.

03.
How Often Should I Change My Subaru CVT Fluid?

While some manuals suggest the fluid is “lifetime,” the heat generated by mountain driving and towing in Colorado can degrade it. We recommend a CVT fluid exchange every 30,000 to 50,000 miles to prevent shuddering and extend the life of the transmission.

04.
